FEATURED PROJECTS
Currently under construction. The existing house was demolished to the foundation. The scope consists of new construction with an addition to the existing footprint. The overall square footage has doubled in size. The design balances a large open floorplan with comfortable amounts of natural light. Interior finishes are currently being installed.
In the annual Sukkahville design competition in Toronto, entrants are challenged to re-imagine the sukkah, a structure that the competition organizers describe as a "symbolic wilderness shelter, symbolizing the frailty and transience of life," traditionally built during the Jewish festival of Sukkot to commemorate the 40 years that the Jews spent wandering the desert. Reflect.Reveal.Rebirth, a competition finalist utilizes a structure that responds to this challenge to create a transient space for contemplation by utilizing a biodegradable skin.

Currently in Schematic Design, this project is located along the Metro North Rail Line (Hudson Valley, New York, NY). The linear massing consists of blackened metal and concrete, where carved, wood and glass are revealed. The unique dialogue between the transparent and opaque allow for a large open floor with panoramic views on three sides of the living and kitchen spaces.
